Various wood types and shapes available: ideal for natural aquascaping and themed biotopes. Branched roots help create depth and focal points, while solid logs offer secure refuges.
Some woods release tannins (humic acids) that tint the water and can slightly lower pH/KH: an effect often desired in Amazonian biotopes. Release decreases with pre-soaking and boiling.
For dimensions, weight, and buoyancy (some woods require anchoring or prolonged soaking), consult the product sheet. Perfect for attaching Java moss (Taxiphyllum barbieri) and plants like Anubias and Microsorum pteropus.
Tip: Before insertion, wash and, if possible, boil the wood to reduce tannins and buoyancy; attach plants with thread or cyanoacrylate gel.
