The UV lamp emits ultraviolet radiation that inactivates undesirable microorganisms, limiting the proliferation of suspended green algae ("green water") and reducing the spread of diseases. It does not affect the chemical values of the water or the biological filter.
In this category, you will find internal and external UV sterilizers, compact models for small aquariums, and more powerful devices for large marine or freshwater tanks. Replacement UV lamps are also available for periodic maintenance.
