Supplements for Osmosis Water
RO water remineralizers remineralize pure water, restoring GH, KH, and TDS to ideal values for fish, shrimp, and plants. Essential for stable water changes and controlled parameters.

Types: GH+ (only increases total hardness) ideal for Caridina and very soft water; GH/KH+ (increases GH and buffer) perfect for Neocaridina, community tanks, and planted aquariums.
Indicative Targets:
• Neocaridina: GH 6–8 dGH, KH 2–4 dKH, TDS ~ 180–220 ppm
• Caridina (cantonensis): GH 4–6 dGH, KH 0–1 dKH, TDS ~ 100–150 ppm
• Planted/Community tank: GH 4–8 dGH, KH 3–6 dKH (stable pH for CO₂)
How to use: remineralize RO/DI water outside the tank (in a jerry can), add the powder or liquid remineralizer, mix/aerate, and check with GH/KH tests and TDS meter until you reach your setpoint. No water conditioner needed.
Good practices: always use the same recipe (ml or g per liter), avoid overdosing and sudden TDS jumps; it's better to increase gradually and maintain consistency between water changes.
Tip: prepare a table (e.g., “5 ml/10 L = GH +2 dGH”) and note TDS/GH/KH after each change: you'll have stable parameters and repeatable results.
