The fastest, easiest-to-assemble shelter just got even better with the introduction of the phenomenal Tempest Rapid Shelter. At the heart of this
two-person fishing tent is the renowned patented hinge block, allowing for quick and easy setup. Setup time,
ease of use, and functionality have been further improved with the Rapid Knuckle System, which allows all five main poles to
lock into position in a single effortless action. Simple and secure, erecting your shelter has never been easier.
Further improvements to the Rapid Shelter include a built-in peak to minimize water ingress around the door, and this peak
can be further extended to allow for even greater coverage with the addition of a Skull Cap. The rear of the shelter
has been made flatter than its predecessor, maintaining an excellent balance between internal storage space, the ability to fit
into spaces, and aerodynamics.
Airflow through the shelter has been improved with Adaptive Ventilation® on six vents (four at the rear and two at the
front), facilitating airflow even when it’s raining. To stay cooler during the summer, the four rear vents can be
pegged out to create shaded areas, which, when used in conjunction with a Skull Cap, can reduce the internal temperature by several degrees.
For optimal livability, there are four internal pockets, two on each side and two at the front. Those at the front have a hook
where essentials such as your receiver or even your jacket can be hung for a quick exit in adverse weather
conditions.
