The heart of this one-person fishing bivvy is the renowned patented hinge block, which allows for ease and speed of setup. Setup time, usability, and functionality have been further enhanced with the Rapid Knuckle System®, which allows all five main poles to lock into place in one effortless action. Simple, secure, and durable, setting up your shelter has never been easier. Further Rapid Shelter improvements include an integrated peak to minimize water ingress in and around the door, and this peak can be further extended to allow even greater coverage with the addition of a Skull Cap. The rear of the shelter has been made flatter than its predecessor, striking an optimal balance between internal storage space, ability to fit in swims, and aerodynamics. Airflow through the shelter has been improved with Adaptive Ventilation® on six vents (four at the rear and two at the front), facilitating airflow even when it rains. To help stay cooler in the height of summer, the four rear vents can be secured to create shaded areas which, when used in conjunction with a Skull Cap, can reduce the internal temperature by several degrees. For optimal storage, there are four internal pockets, two on each side and two at the front. Those at the front have a hanging loop where you can store essentials like your receiver or even your jacket for a quick exit in adverse weather.
