Ultra Carbon stimulates the reproduction of certain bacterial species to simultaneously and naturally reduce PO4 and NO3 values. This method is very efficient, especially when used in conjunction with Oceanlife Biogenesis, and is based on the Redfield Carbon-Phosphorus-Nitrogen ratio within the cells of the utilized bacteria. Excess bacteria will be removed by the skimmer to complete the system cycle and remove a large amount of pollutants. This system is very reliable and convenient compared to other systems like biopellets due to its simple dosing and no electricity costs.
