If you are looking for a strong, reliable line that doesn't cost a fortune, then Carp Line is definitely what you are looking for!
During testing, Carp Line has already become a favourite of those who got their hands on the first samples, including Elliott Gray, and is now his first choice when fishing with a monofilament line.
It is among the toughest lines on the market, easy to use, and in any situation where weeds or snags come into play, it should definitely be the first choice to spool up.
It will handle weeds, rocky areas, and mussels better than most lines. It is also economical to respool: the spools are 1000 meters at a very reasonable price – the price and spool sizes are the same for each of the five available breaking strains: 8lb, 10lb, 12lb, 15lb, and 20lb.
The line sinks well even when used many times and is a nice subtle green colour that blends well with most lakebeds and is difficult to see even in clear water.
Carp Line performs well on the spool and casts excellently, also giving very high knot strength.
Its very low stretch factor makes it ideal for feeling the lead until its impact with the bottom, ensuring you get that 'donk' giving you confidence in where your rig has landed.
Damian Clarke, who was involved in the line's design, enthusiastically states: "We work with some of the best manufacturers in the world. These guys have pushed the boundaries in production to create thinner, lighter, and more technically advanced monofilaments, but with Carp Line, we took a step back. Many anglers want something simple and reliable: that's how Carp Line was born!"
