Granular activated carbon for marine aquariums, superior quality

Oceanlife Life Carbon is a superior quality granular activated carbon produced by physical activation of pre-carbonized coconut shells. It can be used in both marine and fresh water and is particularly effective for continuous removal of organic pollutants (including stinging substances emitted by corals), colorants (phenols), pesticides, medicines, chlorine derivatives and compounds that cause bad odors. It complies with the UNI ISO EN 12915 standard "Granular Activated Carbons for use in the treatment of water intended for human consumption". Wash in pure fresh water before use. Even though it is the carbon with the lowest dust rate on the market, if not washed it can release dust into the water.
