OCEANLIFE FAST CALCIUM

The Berlin method bases its success on the use of live rock, strong lighting, abundant water movement, and filtration entrusted to a protein skimmer. This creates an environment that simulates what happens in natural reefs, namely the removal of surfactant pollutants by the skimmer and a reduction of non-polar polluting compounds by live rock (which host a set of microorganisms capable of completing the Nitrogen cycle).

Calcium and carbonates are used by all aquarium animals for the formation of aragonite, a material that makes up the skeleton of corals, the shell of bivalves such as tridacnas, the carapace of crustaceans, etc.

In addition to the intrinsic importance of these elements, it is important that they are present in water in defined proportions. Commercial salts are balanced mixtures of a multitude of salts, present in a balanced way, but there can be unbalanced consumption of Calcium or Carbonates, due to micro-precipitation or other factors.

Fast Calcium provides calcium in the most concentrated form possible. A few grams are enough to significantly increase calcium. Thanks to this characteristic, it is indicated for large tanks.

Its use is similar to that of Liquid Calcium Plus, but it has greater replenishing power. It is therefore more difficult to dose in small tanks, as small quantities could change the calcium level too quickly.

Thanks to its absolute purity, it dissolves completely and leaves no residues.

These products do not alter phosphate, nitrate, or silicate levels and are free of chelators, preservatives, and gluconates.
