Oceanlife Zeocarb is a mix of carefully selected activated carbons and zeolites that combine the best of both filtration systems. This product is capable of absorbing organic pollutants (including stinging substances emitted by corals), dyes (phenols), pesticides, medications, chlorine derivatives, compounds that cause bad odors, and toxic nitrogenous substances such as ammonium and ammonia from the water. It can be used in any type of filter (fluidized bed, forced flow, filter sock, etc.). Optimal performance is achieved with a forced flow that allows water to wash over the product across its entire surface.
