OCEANLIFE PHOSPHATE ZERO 250ML

Phosphate Zero is an iron-based resin capable of removing large quantities of phosphates and silicates from water. For animals to thrive, it is important to keep phosphate levels below 0.1 mg/l (ppm) in fresh water and 0.02 mg/l (ppm) in marine water.
Phosphate Zero captures phosphates and silicates and, as a beneficial secondary effect, simultaneously releases OH- ions into the water. These ions have the property of neutralizing excess acids and stabilizing pH.
For maximum efficiency, place a sufficient amount of resin inside a filter. Do not immerse the resin in water without first placing it inside the filter.
This resin, unlike others, does not require a fluidized bed filter to function properly. A slow-flow filter like the Oceanlife Multi Filter will suffice.
Rinse briefly in pure fresh water before use. Unrinsed resin can release dust into the water.
Once exhausted, it does not release chemicals.

Dosage:
50ml per 100 liters or 100ml per 100 liters depending on phosphate and silicate levels. Replace once exhausted. 1000 ml is sufficient to treat 2000 liters of saltwater or 4000 liters of freshwater.
