Korda Kickers

With fishing, it can often be the simplest things that make the real difference, and this is definitely the case with the new Kickers.

For years anglers have added bits of shrink tube and the like to their hooks to help them improve the mechanics of the rig and turn the hook more aggressively in a carp’s mouth and improve the chances of a hook hold.

Years ago this was done using a bent hook, and whilst very effective they also caused damage to a fish’s mouth, so anglers switched to tubing.

Now these Kickers have taken away the hassle of having to steam and shape shrink tube to achieve this effect, as they can simply be slid over the eye of the hook to give the perfect presentation in a matter of seconds.

Some anglers like to mask their hook as much as possible, and will appreciate the green and brown versions which will blend in with most lake beds.< br>
But on some waters adding a spot of colour to the hook can produce rapid quick r bites, which is why they are also available in a choice of vivid red, yellow, white or pink varieties. These have already proven very effective during testing when used in combinations such as the yellow Kicker with an artificial corn hookbait.

The Kickers are made from a robust rubber that will easily slide over the eye of your hook and hold in place, and when a fish is hooked it will straighten out but then revert back to its original shape.

Anglers who have had early access to these have come up with all sorts of other presentations besides what they were originally designed for!
