Composed of 3 parts: a base to be fixed to the boat, an arm to be screwed onto the support, and a locking ring; two types of rod pods can be mounted: the TechNick and the Nick Evolution. So, for those who already own one of these pods, simply purchase the support, unscrew the 4 legs, and screw the pod to the support, and you're ready to go! With this system, you will retain all the features of the pod, namely 360° rotation and tilt.
The support arm will help you keep the pod a little further out from the boat so that the butt of the rods isn't too far in. Nothing prevents you from using it on land, perhaps screwed into a pier or other platforms; essentially, it is a truly useful product for those who want and will want to fish in alternative ways while maintaining the reliability and quality of Meccanica Vadese products.
