💡 Expert tip: The pollution level indicator is a valuable tool: it tells you when it's time to clean the filter without having to open the lid every time. The integrated thermometer is useful for monitoring the water temperature entering the filter, particularly important in spring when nitrifying bacteria resume activity. Replace the UVC lamp every 12 months to maintain maximum effectiveness against floating algae. Beware of koi carp: if you plan to introduce koi into the pond, consider that these fish produce a much higher organic load than standard ornamental fish. In the presence of koi, the effective filtering capacity is significantly reduced: it is advisable to further halve the recommended maximum volume or to combine with a dedicated pre-filter.
