Korda Naked Chod System

The naked Chod Safety System is, without a doubt, the biggest advancement in helicopter rig safety to date. The specially designed Chod Sleeves, Code Barrel and Code No-Trace combine to offer a solution to the problems that have plagued Leadcore users for years when casting the hook link. The most important aspect of a helicopter system is the structure that allows the hook link to move up and down the main line should the carp take a broken rig or the rig break during a fight. Previously, for the hook link to pass over the end of the main line, allowing the carp to discard the lead and leadcore, a relatively small, perforated helicopter tail had to pass first. This was problematic if there were weeds or debris collected around the nylon or tails. The design of the Chod Sleeve and the No-Trace Tail eliminates this problem. The hard plastic No-Trace Tail has a large bore and, here's the clever bit, a slot in the side that allows it to come completely off the main line once it has popped out of the tapered Chod Sleeve. This allows the size 11 ring swivel to proceed up and over the end of the nylon with ease. The naked Chod Safety System, Code Barrel and Chod Sleeves are impregnated with tungsten to help you ensure a rig placement where you want it, completely ready. Another Korda industry first!
