If your whole presentation is tangled as it hits the bottom of the lake bed you are not going to get a take on it, no matter how attractive the hook bait. This is why we pay so much attention to what goes behind the lead and how smooth the taper is between the two. As always you will not find numerous sizes of any of our anti-tangle systems - one size fits all is our motto. We are all for making it simpler and more cost effective, and in reality a slightly thinner or thicker anti-tangle system will not catch you any more carp. Matching this part of the rig to the lake bed will make more of a difference to the camouflage of your rig than any other aspect; bearing in mind this is the largest part of the whole rig.
