Korda Basix Boom

Boom material has spearheaded our range of hooklink materials for many years, but we have now developed a similar version for the Basix range.

Basix Boom is made from clear fluorocarbon material and is specifically designed to create stiff booms, making it perfect for Spinner, Hinged Stiff and Combi rig set-ups. Its clear fluorocarbon composition ensures very low visibility underwater whilst also offering excellent crimping properties.

However, the main benefits of using Basix Boom are its anti-tangle and rig reset properties. Used correctly, you can virtually guarantee that your rig will always be fishing effectively and will optimise your chances of success.

Combining high-quality performance with the accessible price point of the Basix range, Basix Boom provides an affordable way to enhance your angling, keeping more money in your pocket.

Basix Boom is available in two different breaking strains: 25lb/0.55mm (use 0.6 crimps) and 35lb/0.65mm (use 0.7 crimps), with 15m on each spool.
