Korda Basix Main Line

BASIX Mainline is an all-round monofilament that offers fantastic value for money, whilst still performing to a very high level. It is very abrasion resistant and tough, but it also casts well and has good knot strength. It has a relatively low level of stretch, which helps when it comes to feeling a lead down onto the lakebed. This line is ‘camo green’ in colour, meaning it blends in very well over just about any lakebed. The BASIX MAINLINE is available in either 12lb or 15lb, covering most carp fishing situations, and comes in either 500m or 1,000m spools, so if you have smaller capacity reels, or are only spooling up two of them, then you don’t need to buy a bigger spool than is actually needed to fill them.
