The new Dark Kamo Compac Rod Holdalls range has been designed to keep your expensive rods and reels in the best possible condition whilst in transit, whilst also being practical and allowing you to set up and pack down in the quickest time possible!
After many years of testing and development by a variety of top anglers, we are pleased to have designed the best rod bags possible and included all the features that any angler would want, so whatever style of carp fishing you do and the type of water you fish, there is a Dark Kamo Compac Rod Holdall perfect for your needs.
The range includes everything from the standard 3-rod 12ft version all the way up to less common configurations, including a model to cater for those using 10ft rods, which have become popular in recent years, especially amongst younger anglers; through to 5-rod 12ft and 13ft versions to cater for those who fish venues that allow four rods, or who like to take spares, such as when travelling abroad.
All the rod holdalls are made from a highly durable and water-resistant Dark Kamo material that will stand up to heavy use, whilst extensive padding and internal dividers ensure that your rods and reels are protected as much as possible from any damage, and are also suitable for big pit reels and larger butt rings.
The Dark Kamo Compac rod holdalls have been designed so that you can get fishing as quickly as possible upon arrival at the lake, with a heavy duty zip allowing for quick access to your rods, whilst landing nets, banksticks and the like are stored in three external pockets along the spine of the holdall. Two extra rods, perfect for a marker and a spod rod, can also be stored externally (either loose or in a rod sleeve), with pockets and straps to hold them in place. So, if you need to get a quick lead around a swim, you can do so almost instantly without having to unpack half of your tackle to do so.
Continuing with the theme of being able to get fishing quickly when you arrive, there is also an external pocket for storing leads or the like, which is great if you are using a lead clip, Heli-Safe or any other system where the lead is removed at the end of the previous session when you reel in – often when you’ve already packed everything else away, you can just tuck it in this zipped pocket, ready to go when you set up again.
