Forms & use: Liquids are dosed into the tank (daily or weekly); tablets gradually release nutrients into the water column or locally in targeted areas. In tanks with many rooted plants, combine with substrate tabs from the "Substrates and Activators" category.
What to choose: All-in-one for simple management; separate macro NPK for high-tech tanks with CO₂ and intense light; micro/chelated iron (EDTA/DTPA) for healthy colors and tips. In low-tech setups, prefer light and consistent doses.
Recommended routine: set a fixed schedule (e.g., 3–7 micro-doses/week) and regular water changes. Increase or decrease by 10–20% by observing growth, pearling, and the appearance of deficiencies (chlorosis, thin stems) or excesses (algae).
Synergies & precautions: effective fertilization requires adequate light and, if possible, stable CO₂. Avoid overdosing, shake bottles, and do not combine overlapping products. For tanks with shrimp, choose shrimp-safe lines.
Tip: start with a "low dose" and gradually increase until you see full growth without algae; combine with a weekly water change to reset excesses and maintain consistency.
