In 1994, a revolutionary rod was created: the Orient Power Plus Leon Hoogendijk! At the time, the performance of this rod surpassed anything else available in high-end carp rods. Thanks to the specific and highly technical composition of its blank, this variable-action rod casts further with greater precision and was a true delight when fighting carp of all sizes. Aesthetically, we remain close to the original version: holographic blue blank, Gunsmoke reinforcement ring on the female part of the reinforced inverted spigot, reliable and secure Fuji Gunsmoke reel seat. The typical (very useful) butt cap has been the signature of Orient Power rods from the very beginning! What has changed are the guides, not in diameter but in model: Kigan ZD Anti Tangle with stainless steel frame (Gunsmoke finish) with Zirconium ring! These high-end guides, very light and resistant, optimize the gliding of monofilaments and braided lines, extend the life of your main line, and increase casting distance. Their specific shape eliminates any risk of the main line or leader tangling around a guide, even if you use a large diameter leader connected to a braided line. The black wraps with metallic blue "tipping" give the rods a sober and very classy look.
These rods also allow you to cast your rigs with great precision thanks to their ability to accurately measure the forces transmitted during casting, a specific property of progressive action rods. This same unique action, which acts along the entire length of the blanks, allows for better control of the fish during fights in all circumstances.
