Designed and developed specifically for baiting up for the more serious feeder anglers, with the likes of Steve Ringer having a big input into these latest tools to hit the market! During the current feeder fishing boom, anglers have demanded a specialist bait-up rod, allowing them to be quick and efficient during the baiting process.
These two-piece rods come in 10’ and 12’ versions to cater for the varying distances that anglers are now having to bait-up, with casting weights up to 170g (10’) and 280g (12’) allowing anglers to effectively bait-up with big, heavy, full feeders of groundbait. The powerful, fast action of the rods means that they can be compressed and loaded to cast long-range with maximum accuracy, while the rapid tip action helps to empty the feeder when the rod is shaken, perfectly releasing the bait from the feeder. This can be used to empty the feeder at differing depths to achieve calculated bait-up edges.
Having strategically placed anti-frap guides prevents break-offs when baiting up heavy feeders, and the end eye on both rods is ‘anti-frap’ preventing the annoying twist-up that often occurs when baiting up with large feeders around the end eye when swinging a cast. Of course, there is the long handle and bespoke Guru reel seat for maximum comfort, control and accuracy. Ideally, the rods can be used alongside X-Change Bait-Up Braid and Bait-Up Feeders, all of which are designed to hold and release feed effectively, and make for a deadly baiting up product range.
