Designed to break records. Literally.
The Shimano TX-7A Carp Intensity was created for large waters and the most demanding casters. This rod broke the world casting record with a 4 oz lead at 247 yards — and the new generation has been developed with even more advanced technologies to surpass those limits.
Next-generation technology
NANOSHEET — Shimano NANO carbon creates blanks that are 35% stronger and 15% lighter than traditional ones. The internal core made of NANO carbon sheet distributes resin in microparticles throughout the blank, ensuring lightness, strength, and responsiveness.
BIOFIBRE — The addition of Biofibre reinforces the carbon fibers in all directions, offering exceptional impact resistance, lightness, power, and great responsiveness.
HPC (High Pressure Carbon) — A manufacturing process that applies pressure to the blank's surface during curing, evenly distributing resin through the carbon fiber matrix. The result is a stronger and more sensitive blank.
Power and precision
M40X carbon combined with Nanosheet technology makes the blank more reactive with faster recovery after casting. Strong and powerful, yet forgiving in combat under the rod tip.
