Following the success of our Kaizen Platinum rods, we’ve introduced the more affordable Kaizen Green range. While lower-priced than our top-tier Kaizen Platinum, they share many of the design features and performance qualities, making high-quality angling accessible to all. We understand that not every angler needs or can afford the Platinum series, so Kaizen Green is our solution, offering almost identical performance at a lower cost.
The Kaizen Green range, constructed from a more affordable carbon modulus, differs slightly in power transfer and recovery speed during casting, but maintains a similar action to the Platinum rods. It comprises eight fishing rods and two spod rods, all rigorously tested in various angling conditions by Team Korda anglers. Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, indicating the quality and performance of the range.
Our 10ft rods, a first for us, are designed for specific scenarios like boat fishing and any situation where the length and range of a standard 12ft rod aren't needed. The range also includes spod rods capable of long-distance casting. Aesthetically, the rods boast a custom-built look with a matt finish, black whippings, and a subtle logo, complemented by durable, stylish guides and a comfortable, secure handle.
Danny Fairbrass's pride in the Kaizen Green range is evident. He emphasizes the goal of making high-quality angling equipment more accessible, ensuring more anglers can enjoy the benefits of advanced rod technology. By observing the performance of the Kaizen Greens, which closely mirror the more expensive Platinum rods but at a more accessible price point, we have certainly achieved this.
This range demonstrates that quality and affordability can coexist, making great angling experiences available to a wider audience.
10ft 3.5lb
The 10ft 3.5lb offers a little more power than the 3lb version and makes it perfect for use in smaller venues, especially tricky or weedy ones, as well as being well suited to boat fishing for placing rigs and fighting fish.

This is the true all-rounder of the 12ft models, as it is capable of casting lead long distances and is also soft enough to play fish under the rod tip, should it need to.
