Fox Edges Super Wide Gape Long Shank

The Super Wide Gape Long Shank was developed with the intention of creating the most modern and advanced carp hook, combining key elements of the best performing models in terms of catches, for use with today's most popular rigs. We started with a long shank hook, renowned for its secure grip properties, to this we added a slight but wide curvature along the shank, finished with an inwardly turned eye, and this ensures that the hook rotates instantly once inside the carp's mouth, positioning itself for a perfect hookset. A wide profile was also necessary, to give the point more chance of gripping the fish's mouth. Finally, a super sharp beaked point, to ensure that once hooked, the hook stays in place and the chances of losing the fish are greatly reduced. In the past, all these elements have never been combined in a single carp hook, and the result is devastating! These hooks are perfectly suited for Ronnie/Spinner style rig presentations along with all types of sinking and pop-up presentations.
