Feeding Instructions

General Feeding: For best results, feed as often as possible the amount your fish will consume in 2-3 minutes, daily. For best results, feed up to four times daily an amount that can be consumed in one minute. Avoid feeding large amounts less frequently as it can cause nutritional deficiencies.

For Mid-Water and Bottom Fish: Soak in a cup of aquarium water prior to feeding. This will cause the food to sink more rapidly providing these fry easy access to the nutrition.

For Live-Bearers: Can consume First Bites immediately after birth.

For Egg-Layers: Utilize the yolk sac for nutrition immediately after birth. Begin feeding First Bites just before the yolk sac is completely consumed.
