Calcium is an essential element in the diet of many animals, fundamental for the development and maintenance of healthy bones and teeth, as well as for proper neuromuscular function. A calcium deficiency can lead to serious conditions, such as Metabolic Bone Disease (MBD) in reptiles and secondary nutritional hyperparathyroidism in exotic small mammals, such as sugar gliders.

To ensure maximum quality and absorbability, NUTRINOVEL has chosen to use only highly absorbable calcium carbonate in its EXOTIC SUSTAIN – Calcium Ca, sourced exclusively from Italian limestone. This supplement is free from phosphorus, magnesium and any impurities harmful to the animals' health.
