The Korda Kompetition Mono is a high-performance monofilament line, dyed bright fluorescent green to ensure exceptional visibility even in the most difficult lighting conditions.
The fluorescent colour offers numerous practical advantages over traditional clear monofilament: whether you are fighting a fish in bright sunlight or tracking your lines in the dark after a cast, the line always remains clearly visible. This is particularly useful during night sessions or in low-light conditions, when keeping track of the line angle during a fish's lateral runs becomes extremely difficult.
The breaking strength-to-diameter ratio is excellent, allowing the use of abrasion-resistant monofilament even on long casts, while reducing resistance and weight. The result is balanced performance, with low stretch and excellent sinking properties: the ideal companion for every situation.
Available in 7 variants: 0.25mm/11lb, 0.27mm/13lb, 0.30mm/15lb, 0.33mm/17lb, 0.35mm/18lb, 0.38mm/20lb, 0.40mm/22lb.
