Guru Tackle A-Class 5000 Reel (2026)

The A-Class 5000 reel is designed for anglers who need more power and faster line retrieval for more demanding feeder fishing situations. With its larger spool and greater retrieval capacity, it is ideal for long-distance casting, heavier feeders and situations where a sturdier reel is required. Perfect for both commercial and natural waters, the 5000 offers the strength, control and reliability required by modern feeder fishing while maintaining the smooth performance and excellent value for money that characterise the A-Class range.

Why choose the A-Class

The Guru A-Class reel range has been designed to offer anglers a reliable, well-balanced and affordable option without compromising performance where it matters most. Built for freshwater anglers, both recreational and competitive, the range covers the most common fishing situations with four models: the 3000, 4000, 5000 and 6000 Distance Feeder. Whether fishing short-range commercial waters, natural environments or using long-distance feeder techniques, the A-Class range offers a practical and reliable choice at an affordable price.

The A-Class reels are built with lightweight bodies and rotors that reduce overall weight and improve balance in the hand, making them comfortable to use during extended sessions, both in competition and recreational fishing. This is complemented by an aluminium spool and handle, which give the reels a more solid and premium feel while maintaining the series' value for money.

The reels feature intuitive and practical features that will satisfy both developing anglers and club veterans. For greater control when fighting fish, each model features an infinite anti-reverse system combined with a smooth multi-disc drag. The soft-touch T-shaped handle knob ensures excellent grip and comfort, while the thick-wire bail arm improves durability and highlights the excellent build quality for its price bracket.
